(1) La canzone (il titolo si può tradurre "Per quello che ha un valore") è stata ispirata a Stephen Stills da scontri di piazza avvenuti nel 1967 intorno alla università di Berkeley, l’uomo col fucile è quindi una guardia, e i “bambini” sono gli studenti dimostranti, chiusi dalle guardie e in cerca di una via di fuga.
(2) Ovviamente si tratta di un poliziotto che controlla i manifestanti.
