elastica, i membri in gran parte anziani.

The Theosophical Society |
The Theosophical Society is a worldwide association of men and women dedicated to the uplifting of humanity through a better understanding of the oneness of life and the practical application of this principle. Founded in New York City in 1875 by Helena P. Blavatsky, Henry S. Olcott, William Q. Judge, and several others, it is one expression of a spiritual and educational movement that has been active in all ages. Unsectarian and non-political, its objectives are:
q to diffuse among men a knowledge of the laws inherent in the universe;
q to promulgate the knowledge of the essential unity of all that is, and to demonstrate that
q this unity is fundamental in nature;
q to form an active brotherhood among men;
q to study ancient and modern religion, science, and philosophy;
q to investigate the powers innate in man.
